Michał Szulc

Born in 1983, inhabitant of Lodz and citizen of Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz (Design Department).

Currently working on his diploma collection inspired by the art of Donald Judd and American minimalists. He planed gaining the MA degree at the beginning of 2008.
Holder of Minister of Culure’s grant. Winner in many fashion contests, eg. “Jeans Design 2006 & 2007”, “Golden Thread 2007”, and contests run by Heyah, Ecco and Nokia.
Works published in: “Hiro”, “Exklusiv”, “Aktivist”, “Jeans & casual”.
Main idea: “less is more”. Seeking for a form that will be complicated in its simplicity results in mainly denim streetwear with single jersey, woven and cotton outfits.
