Beata Miłogrodzka

Beata Miłogrodzka lives and works in Gdańsk. She studied Law and graduated from Gdańsk University. Shortly after her studies she got involved into silver jewellery design. Travels abroad made her close the workshop, however not for that long. After she had returned to Poland, full of inspiration and new ideas, Beata stared to work as a fashion designer. At first in 'Ann Cristin' and afterwards in 'Lpp'. Few years later, finally all her attention has been turned into hats. Seems like a long way, but as she says “I have always been shaping things. What has been changing, is material”.
A hat is first of all unique and personal thing. Beata has never done two alike. Every single is hand-made. Ornamentation and form of each remains unrepeatable.
Beata Miłogrodzka is working mainly on commission and that is what she really appreciates. Color she selects and form she shapes depends on both, personality of her client as well as occasion a hat is made for.
Beata's hats have been presented on a catwalk, in TV as well as behind gallery window. However, neither crazy shows nor static poses suite them very well. What they do love though, is following graceful steps of their beloved owners.
