Welcome to the YPDF website!
Young Polish Designers Foundation (YPDF) has been established to bring together young, talented and creative fashion designers from all over Poland, in order to strengthen Polish fashion. Among Foundation beneficiaries are both well-known, widely acclaimed experienced designers, and passionate, ripe with ideas start-ups. The Foundation helps them survive and flourish on the market by providing them with possibilities of presenting their works on fashion shows, media events and in Foundation's fashion showroom in Warsaw.
The activities which the YPDF has undertaken enabled many fashion designers to be noticed by a larger public and so allowed for their further creative development. As a foundation the YPDF cooperates with different companies and organizations in order to show the strength of Polish fashion to those who are not well acquainted with it yet. Dion Heijmans the founder of YPDF has plans in the future to broaden its friendship with other organizations beyond the borders of Poland and make Polish fashion a more recognizable brand.
Great HOT moda & shopping Contest
Young polish Designers Foundation together with the distributor of 'Greenbag' bags in Poland have organised a contest in the HOT moda & shopping magazine: Design a fashionable 'GREENBAG'.
The link between caring of the environment and fashion is becoming very trendy these days, also in the fashion business. Anyone can take part in this competition, the way of designing the bag is left to the creator. Authors of most interesting designs will receive attractive awards. The winning project will be manufactured by the Gam Sp. z o.o. company - the distributor of 'Greenbag' bags in Poland.
